Came in and asked for 2 things. A contract to be drafted and help recieving my mothers 401k. Mr. Sekhon said 2 hours for the contract to be drafted and a few days for the 401k. I accepted and paid 2500 dollars up front in cash. 3 months later I recieved a contract that didnt even have the correct address and after 6 months still no 401k. He started telling me I was rushing him and he didnt agree to contact the 401k company on my behalf. I fired him and recieved a few hundred dollars back... With no contract and no 401k and more than half a year of my time wasted.... SCUMBAG
I recently contacted this law firm for help contesting a trust. Mr. O'Bryant was initially very helpful, and set up a call for a few days later. After speaking to him, and his law clerk, Laura, he told us his fee and agreed to take our case. He then scheduled a call for he and my husband (the litigant) to speak. After 3 unreturned calls, and being unable to reach Mr. O'Bryant, we concluded that this firm does not treat people or their time with respect. If they decided our case wasn't worth pursuing, the mature thing would have been to call us and let us know. But instead Mr. O'Bryant and his staff wasted our time and ignored our calls. I wouldn't recommend this firm to anyone.
I RETAINED THIS FIRM TO REPRESENT ME IN A PROBATE LITIGATION. THE CASE RESULTED IN A TRIAL VERDICT AGAINST ME. THERE WAS A PROPER BASIS FOR AN APPEAL. THE APPEAL WAS NOT FILED ON TIME. THEREFORE, THE APPEAL WAS DISMISSED AND A JUDGMENT WAS ENTERED AGAINST ME. THE FIRM DID NOT TELL ME ANY OF THIS INFORMATION. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE SHOULD RETAIN THIS FIRM FOR WORK. THERE WAS NO EXCUSE FOR MISSING A DEADLINE AND THE CONSEQUENCES TO ME WERE VERY DAMAGING FINANCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND AFFECT ME TO THIS DAY. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE BAR AS WELL. I DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT THIS FIRM PUT ME THROUGH. IT WAS HORRIBLE.
