Leaving the IRS he worked for the US Department of Transportation Inspector General in Washington DC. While working full time for the Federal government he completed Law School and began the practice of Law Licensed in Virginia in 2001. In 2006 he was admitted to practice law in Washington. Raised in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, Tom attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He obtained his undergraduate degree in History and Government-Law while earning Academic All-Patriot League status on the diamond. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in Athens, he participated in the Special Education Practicum helping underprivileged families earn the educational benefits afforded them under the law. After law school, he returned to northern Virginia, practicing for four years with a boutique litigation firm in Warrenton. He then transitioned to a growing regional firm, where he managed two criminal defenses offices and spearheaded their Virginia civil litigation practice for over eight years. Roy J. Baldwin, Esq. was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University School of Law in Washington, D.C. He has lived in Virginia since 1975. He is married and his son, Nathaniel, is an associate of the firm. Since 1976, Mr. Baldwin has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, and the Family Law Section of the Fairfax Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in Virginia State and Federal courts. He has held numerous positions in the Fairfax Bar Association, has served as a moot court judge for his alma mater, The George Washington University School of Law, is a multi-year recipient of Martindale-Hubbell’s Client Distinction Award, and in 2016 was named a Capital Region Premiere Lawyer by the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Baldwin has held several positions with the Town of Vienna, most recently as a member of the Town Board of Architectural Review. Steve Halfhill concentrates in business, security, commodity and regulatory law, as well as domestic relations, traffic/criminal matters and general litigation. After receiving his J.D. Degree from West Virginia University in 1974, Mr. Halfhill entered the United States Army where he served as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
